Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office purchases an Ultra Violet Robot to help stop the spread of viruses in the Jail
Using Cares Act funding, granted by the Pulaski County Commission, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office purchased an Ultra Violet Robot to help stop the spread of viruses in the Jail. Lieutenant April Bryan said the immediate intent is to stop the spread of Covid 19.
The UltraViolet robot can disinfect up to a thousand square feet in about 7 minutes.
Bryan said that while the UltraViolet Robot of great benefit today, it will be of use in the future at the Sheriff’s Department and Jail because it kills other viruses. The robot was purchased for $35-thousand-dollars.
