A Lebanon man who is facing charges of domestic assault from an earlier complaint is now charged with another count of domestic assault and tampering with a witness. Laclede County Deputies responded to HH Highway to check on the well-being of 3 children on April 6th and found their mother standing outside and crying. While speaking with the deputies the victim said that she was trying to leave after Stephan Oliver assaulted her. The woman said that Oliver had a court date coming up on a domestic assault charge where she is the victim. She claimed that he told her to go to the courthouse and drop the charges, and to tell the prosecutor that nothing happened between them when he goes to court. While trying to convince her to make those claims, he allegedly grabbed her by the throat and began choking her, and only stopped after she agreed. A warrant was issued for 31-year-old Stephan Oliver to be held without bond.
