A man from Mountain View has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool. 31-year-old Dylan J. Hanger has been given a federal prison sentence of 21 years and ten months without parole after pleading guilty on May 10, 2022, to committing a murder in a national park in 2020. Hanger admitted to meeting his estranged wife, Brittany Gorman, at the Buck Hollow Access Area within the Ozarks National Scenic Riverways on May 20, 2020. He revealed that their disagreement turned violent, and he stabbed her several times.
