A traffic stop at the 129 exit of I-44 led to the arrest of a woman with a long drug offense history. On Thursday night a Lebanon Police Officer pulled over a vehicle for an unlawfully dark window tint. During the investigation, the officer learned that the driver, 41 year old Carrie Ann Jones, has been under investigation by the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group on allegations of delivery of a controlled substance in Laclede County, and is on parole for drug trafficking. When a K-9 Unit was brought in, the dog alerted on the vehicle for the presence of narcotics. Officers then searched the vehicle the officer seized a bag that contained 19 grams of methamphetamine, a bag that contained cocaine, glass pipes and a glass bowl that contained a crystal substance. Jones is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance, and is being held without bond.
