The Lebanon R-3 School District Board of Directors approved the 2020-2021 school year calendar during this week’s meeting. R-3 Communications Director, Jacy Overstreet, says new legislation from the state impacted the upcoming school year………..

No school district in Missouri can start before August 24th for the 2020-2021 school year. Board members also revisited the R-3 10 Master Plan during this week’s meeting. Overstreet says the original 10-year plan carried the district through 2022, and it’s time to design a new 10-year plan……..

Board members also unanimously approved the refunding of general obligation bonds. Overstreet says this move will save district taxpayers nearly 90-thousand dollars………

Board members also discussed tuition rates for the 2020-2021 school year for sending schools, budget development updates, and Innovation Grant recipients during this week’s meeting. Those who received one thousand dollar grants were Karen McDermott and Holly Rogers from Lebanon Middle School and Erica York from Esther Elementary.
