Lebanon Police investigate theft and fraud
Lebanon Police received a report of fraud that took place at Walmart. According to the Police report, a woman from Ashland had lost her wallet after leaving it on the trunk of her car at a gas station. The woman reported that since that time someone has used her electronic benefit transfer card at Walmart in Lebanon, making purchases that added up to around $115. Police are attempting to identify a suspect by viewing video footage. The investigation is continuing.
An investigation into a report of stolen medication is underway in Lebanon. Lebanon Police were contacted by a 57 year old woman from Eldridge on Monday. The victim said that she had someone pick up her medication for her at a pharmacy in Lebanon, but he failed to bring it to her. The loss to the victim and the type of medication was not released. The investigation is continuing.
