The Lebanon City Council is now accepting applications and resumes for a vacant council seat in Ward 3. The seat was vacated last week when Councilman Josh Ray moved out of the ward, leaving him ineligible to serve. Applications for the term set to expire in April are available at the City Clerk’s office at Lebanon City Hall.

To qualify, applicants must have lived in Ward 3 for at least six months; must be at least 21 years of age; must be current on state, municipal, and personal property taxes and not convicted of a felony.
Applications will be accepted until Nov. 15, at which time the mayor will select a candidate to be brought before council for approval at the regular Nov. 22 meeting.
For more information, or to request an application, contact Assistant City Administrator/City Clerk Laina Starnes at (417) 532-2156 or [email protected].
