Lake Ozark will meet to discuss Transportation Development District
The Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen will hold a study session on Tuesday for discussion about the formation of a Transportation Development District. Mayor Gerry Murawski said they are trying to decide if they want to put an issue on the ballot which will help pay for street improvements, including along the strip.
Transportation development districts in Missouri can impose a sales tax in increments of one eighth percent up to one percent. The Study Session will be held at 6pm on Tuesday at Heritage Elementary School on School Road.
