The latest sales tax numbers are in for Laclede County showing a slight decrease over last month. February general revenue came in at $236-thousand-925 which is $11-hundred-33 less than January. The Law Enforcement Sales tax for February was $506 less than January and the County Development Tax was $13-hundred-15 less than January. While the numbers do show a light decrease this month, Laclede County Clerk LInda Cansler who is also the budget officer for the County, said they plan for these ups and downs..

Statewide, in 2022 Missouri saw an increase of 13 percent in sales tax collection, a trend that they hope will carry over into 2023.
