Tommy Edman and Paul Goldschmidt each drove in two runs as the Cardinals topped the Phillies on KJEL.

Carlos Martinez gave up just two runs over seven and a third innings for the Cardinals to get the win. Manager Mike Shildt said there’s been indications that an outing like that was coming.

Alex Reyes picked up the save for St. Louis, which has won four of five. Didi Gregorius and J.T. Realmuto drove in runs for the Phillies. Zach Eflin allowed five runs over six and two thirds innings to take the loss for Philadelphia, which has lost two of three. The two teams matchup again tonight at Busch Stadium..Pre-game coverage will begin at 5:50 on regional radio….
