Illinois man charged in Wright County for child pornography

An Illinois man who traveled to Wright County to meet up with a 16-year-old girl and allegedly had sex with her has been arrested. According to paperwork filed by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, they received information that a 16-year-old girl was sneaking out of her house to meet with a 35-year-old man from Illinois. Relatives of the girl were able to give law enforcement a license plate number and the man’s name. A Wright County Deputy was able to intercept Edgar Ducas while he was en route to pick up the 16-year-old. During the investigation, officers learned that Ducas had met up with the teen, two other nights and drove her to a motel in Lebanon, where they had sexual relations. Ducas was found to be in possession of 4 capsules containing MDMA, and pictures of the teen girl naked, on his phone. 35-year-old Edgar Ducas is charged with possession of child pornography and possession of a controlled substance.
