Health Department Contracts
The Laclede County Health Department Board of Trustees were provided an update on department contracts during their Thursday night meeting. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the Maternal Child Health Contract has the potential to provide the department with around 29-thousand dollars in funding………….
The Women, Infants, and Children (or WIC) contract is broken down into four categories and has the potential to provide over 235-thousand dollars in funding. Baker says the Laclede County Health Department receives several thousand dollars for being a breastfeeding-friendly clinic……
Both contracts will run through September 30th of this year. Baker says the department is grateful to receive that funding.
