A Historic Bridge in Camden County is going to be getting renewed life thanks to a new group. The historic 90-year-old self-anchoring Green Mill Bridge in Camden County is going to be getting preserved and repurposed. The Green Mill bridge is one of only four self-anchoring bridges in the nation. The Green Mills Historic Bridge Inc group worked with MoDOT to keep the bridge and restore it. The bridge is still in its original location and is a great place to take photos during social gatherings and events. Transportation Project Manager Ryan Libbert says it’s a rare process to transfer a bridge over to another group.

Libbert says the group plans to keep up with daily maintenance on the bridge.

Libbert says the bridge is located in a beautiful location.
