Fort Leonard Wood is reviving its popular monthly community forum event, Woodworks, to share information about current and upcoming activities, events, and services.
Garrison leaders hosted a Facebook Livestream this past Wednesday of Woodworks. During the presentation, General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital leaders discussed Covid-19 vaccination efforts. The Directorate of Public Works Housing Office told that it is accepting applications for its community mayoral program. Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation announced they are seeking people to fill lifeguard positions, golf course roles, Outdoor Adventure Center openings, and Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area dockhand, and assistant jobs. The Religious Support Office is resuming some events. Lent kits are available. A free, virtual Valentine’s Day event called “An Evening in Paradise: Date Night In” is set for February 12th at 8 p-m.
