A traffic stop in Dallas County resulted in the seizure of a large amount of drugs. According to a report filed by a Dallas County Deputy, the stop took place on Monday night, on Highway 65. The car was unregistered and had license plates that didn’t belong to the car. The driver, identified as Roberto Fierro, was detained and the deputy began searching the car, lifting up the tire cover in the floor of the trunk. The officer located a bag that contained more than a pound of methamphetamine, hidden under the spare tire. Fierro was allegedly attempting to deliver the methamphetamine from Missouri to Texas and has been charged in Dallas County with drug trafficking with a bond of $250-thousand-dollars.
