Covid 19 vaccine arrived in Lebanon Tuesday
The Covid 19 vaccine has arrived at Mercy Lebanon, and nurses and doctors have started being vaccinated. Director of Nursing Judy O’Conner Snyder tells Regional Radio News they have received enough vaccine to begin inoculations; but, it appears it will be a while before the general public will get the vaccine…
For full protection from COVID 19 a person will have to get two doses…In the meantime, she encourages everyone to continue to protect themselves by wearing a mask in public, social distance, and handwashing. Dr. Corinne Rao, a hospital-based physician at Mercy Hospital Lebanon, was the first vaccine recipient at that facility. Vaccine distribution there will get up to full speed Wednesday.
