Commissioner’s Discuss Bids and SP190
The Laclede County Commissioners met in regular session today to discuss a stacked agenda. The first items that they discussed were a couple of bids. Those bids were for a 2013 Ford F-150 and a 2015 Dodge Charger. The bid for the Dodge Charger was approved at 2,000 dollars and was awarded to a resident in Lebanon. The F-150 bids will be discussed at the next meeting as the two individuals who bid are being contacted by the commissioners. The commissioners held a work session with department heads on Friday, March 8th discussing Senate Bill 190, and they discussed at the meeting today the timeline for implementation. Presiding County Commissioner Randy Angst says there are some modifications to the application.
The commissioners also heard from the Missouri Route 66 Centennial Commission. The commission was brainstorming ideas and events from the 2024-2027 timeline. They are trying to get more people out to see how great Route 66 is.
