A serious crash occurred last night in Benton County leaving a driver seriously injured. Headed Northbound on Bent Tree Harbor, 39-year-old Hardin resident Gerald Messer was driving a John Deere AMT 622 UTV. The crash occurred as the UTV was being navigated on trails through the woods. The UTV was traveling down a hill and began overturning, ejecting Messer and possibly another occupant, before coming to a rest. Warsaw/Lincoln EMS transported Messer to Golden Valley Hospital.
