Another city will put marijuana tax on the ballot

The Camdenton Board of Aldermen is joining several other municipalities and counties that are putting a sales tax on the ballot in April. Earlier this week, the Camdenton Board of Aldermen voted to put a question on the ballot seeking to impose a 3 percent sales tax on retail sales of marijuana. He said if the question passes some of the money will go to the Police budget….

Voters will decide on the sales tax on recreational marijuana on April 4th. The last day to register to vote before the April 4 election is March 8th.
