A Camdenton man who was trying to avoid arrest on Monday for outstanding warrants is facing an additional charge. According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to a residence on Dry Hollow Road to serve an arrest warrant. 42 year old Michael Polgar was wanted for probation violation, on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. When deputies attempted to take Polgar into custody, he took off on foot. He was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Michael Polgar, was charged with Resisting Arrest By fleeing and given a surety bond of $50-thousand. He also remains at the Camden County Correctional Facility on the parole warrant.
