The fiscal year-end sales tax numbers have been finalized for the City of Camdenton, with impressive results. The fiscal year for the city ends in September, and City Administrator Jeff Hooker said they were up more than 8 percent over last year. Hooker said stimulus checks and stipends played a part in that, but it was also because people were working from home

 

Overall, sales tax revenue for fiscal year 2020 in Camdenton was up 8 and a half percent. Another significant piece of information that was announced was that sales tax collected for October, was up more than 20 percent over 2019.
