Woman Nearly Drowns at Lake of the Ozarks
A-72-year-old Kansas City woman nearly drowned Friday night at Lake of the Ozarks. The incident occurred when Sara V. Shandy fell off a dock at the 21-mile marker of the Osage Arm of the Lake; she struck her head and was unconscious when she was found floating face down in the water. Shandy was recovered by family and friends and transported to Lake Regional Hospital.
