Woman Found Deceased Floating In Lake Of The Ozarks Following Accident

An 80-year-old Gravois Mills woman is dead following a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon off of a private drive off of Clover Road in Morgan County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by Floy M. Beard, for an unknown reason, ran into the Lake of the Ozarks. Beard was found floating in the lake at 7:03 Friday morning and pronounced deceased at 8:00 A.M. by Hunter Denman with the Morgan County Coroners Office. The cause of death remains under investigation.
