Wheatland Woman Dead Following Hickory County Accident

A 66-year-old Wheatland woman is dead following a single-vehicle accident at 11:36 Sunday morning on County Road 159, four miles west of Galmey in Hickory County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that an S.U.V. driven by Brenda L. Fisk ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, became airborne, and overturned several times. Fisk was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was not wearing a safety device.
