Webster County Man Sentenced In Wife’s Death

A Webster County man who killed his wife stuffed her body in a freezer and stored it in a unit at a storage facility was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
58-year old Larry Dinwiddie said he beat his wife, Cynthia, with a claw hammer and then choked her to death in 2015.
Dinwiddie put her body in a running freezer in a storage facility outside Marshfield for nearly four years. He claimed that his wife was an alcoholic who abused him for years. The night of the crime, he told them, he snapped.
Dinwiddie must serve at least 20 years before he can be released.
