Webster County had only one contested race

Over 47-hundred Webster County voters cast a ballot during Tuesday’s election, for a turnout of just under 34 percent. In contested races, Michael P. Taylor won the Republican nomination for County Coroner. Webster County voters said no to Constitutional Amendment Number 2, which would expand Medicaid. The margin of defeat in Webster County was 70 percent no, to 30 percent yes. All other local races were unopposed.
