As the cost of electricity continues to increase, Lebanon City Utility customers can get control of their utility cost through a special program offered by the city. The Weatherization Works Program can help reduce the amount of heat lost in the winter and cool air lost in the summer. According to Kelly Roberts with the City of Lebanon, the weatherization works program begins with a Lebanon City Utility customer requesting a home energy audit.

Roberts said in some cases during the initial interview she has been able to help determine that the customer qualifies for additional assistance through MOCA, which might mean no out of pocket cost to the resident. The customer could receive as much $17-hundred-dollars back for the cost of the energy efficiency improvements. For additional information contact the City of Lebanon.
