Waynesville Woman Injured in Highway 64 Accident

A two-vehicle accident at 6:33 last night (Saturday) on Highway 64, a half-mile west of Highway A, sent a Waynesville woman to the hospital with moderate injuries. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a 2008 Jeep Commander driven by 32-year old Susan D. Kimes of Waynesville failed to yield to a pickup driven by 24-year old Jubil S. Smith of Lebanon, causing the vehicles to strike head-on. Smith did not report any injuries, Kimes was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
