(Waynesville)–Senior Centers in the area are still operating despite coronavirus concerns. They’re not offering  sit down meals, but prepare them for pick up during lunchtime Mondays through Fridays. New Waynesville-St. Robert and Dixon Senior Centers administrator Michelle Reeves says the meals are available to people age 60 and over, but those who are younger can pick up a meal as well..

Both centers provide meals on wheels for the homebound every week, although not on a daily basis.
Former Senior Centers administrator, Brenda Doyle, says that, while business is off slightly at the Waynesville-St. Robert location is up at the Dixon Senior Center.
