The Missouri House this week perfected legislation sponsored by state Rep. Bill Hardwick (R-Waynesville) to protect individuals from government-mandated vaccine requirements, and to protect the individual rights of employees.

The legislation, HB 700, strictly prohibits schools that receive public funds from requiring students to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, an mRNA vaccine, or an implanted mechanical or electronic device. The bill also prohibits governmental entities from implementing similar mandates

During Floor Debate, Hardwick said:

The bill needs one more vote in the House before it moves to the Senate for consideration. It must receive final approval from both chambers by Friday, May 12.
