The Waynesville R-VI School District has released its calendar for the 2023-24 school year. This year, the first day of school will be Monday, August 21st, with the last day of school coming on May 24, 2024. Along with the typically scheduled Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks, the school will not be held on Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, MLK Day, or President’s Day. There will also be Teacher In-Service days on Monday, October 9th, and Wednesday, January 3rd. Summer School begins on May 30, 2024, and runs until Thursday, June 28th, with no summer school being held on Wednesday, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday.
