Waynesville R-VI School District Foundation awarded more than $6,000 in teacher grants to Waynesville R-VI teachers

The Waynesville R-VI School District Foundation awarded more than $6,000 in teacher grants to Waynesville R-VI teachers during Convocation on Monday, August 14th.
The winners of 2023-24 foundation grants include $125 to Mariah Osborne at the Parker Educational Center for calming center items…$435.49 to Christina Sazonov for alphabet puppets at Williams Early Childhood Center, $100 to Allison Sylvester for a dramatic play area at the Williams Early Childhood Center, and $87.82 to Manuela Phinn for social-emotional games. At East Elementary, the Foundation awarded a $300 grant to Kyleen Oxendine for decodable book supplements, a $500 grant to Camiel Laurie and Crystal Light for a one $500 brick math set, and a $500 grant to Melissa Lynch for clay glazes. At Freedom Elementary, there was a $243.46 grant to Niki Dailey for reading manipulatives, a $150 grant for writing manipulatives to Katy Henson for writing manipulatives, a $200 grant to Tracy Farley for STEAM bin manipulatives, a $350 grant to Hannah Whitehead for interactive math manipulatives, and a $200 grant to Elaine Cole for the Game Changers Club.
