Waynesville High School Play underway

Waynesville High School’s first performance of “Terror By Gaslight” began Thursday night. The play will be performed by Waynesville High Theatre Department and Thespian Troupe 1669, and Waynesville High School Theatre Director Charles Davis, say’s this “isn’t a typical show”.

The cast includes Waynesville High School students from freshmen to seniors, as well as members of Thespian Troupe 1669. Thespian Troupe 1669 is the local chapter of the International Thespian Society, an international honor organization that recognizes students that dedicate their time to theatre. Davis warns that the show isn’t for the faint of heart.

The play will be performed at 7 p.m. this weekend, October 21st through the 23rd as well as next weekend October 29th through the 30th, and at 2:30 p.m. on October 31st. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.our.show/whs/terror.
