Waynesville man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

A Waynesville man was injured during a two-vehicle crash in Benton County on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Shannon Williams was riding his motorcycle on Highway 7 when a car driven by 28-year-old Riley Johnson of Warsaw turned onto Commercial and hit Williams. Williams was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. According to the report, Williams was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
