Waynesville Man Faces Multiple Felony Charges

Rashidi Allen of Waynesville has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on three charges of delivery of a controlled substance, two charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering, three charges of unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting a lawful stop.
Court documents allege that on September 22nd, Allen possessed cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, all with the intent to deliver. Allen was also in possession of a Sig Sauer Mosquito, as well as another handgun, and was in possession of a silver 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander without the consent of the vehicle’s owner. When officers tried to make a lawful stop on the defendant, Allen allegedy fled, operating the vehicle at speeds of over 100 miles per hour while weaving in and out of traffic.
Allen is a prior drug offender, with convictions for possession of a controlled substance in 2015 and 2018. Allen pleaded not guilty to all new charges. Judge Colin Long ordered Allen to personally appear for an October 3rd counsel status hearing, as well as a October 16th preliminary hearing.
