(Hazlegreen)–A Waynesville motorist received moderate injuries Friday evening on I-44 in Laclede County when her 2015 Ford Fusion was struck by the wheel from another vehicle. According to the highway patrol, 66-year-old Durema A. Williams was injured when the wheel from a 2004 Nissan Xterra, driven by 26-year-old Roderick M. May of Neosho detached, traveled across the median barrier, and struck the front of Williams’ vehicle. Durema Williams was taken by Pulaski County Ambulance to the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood to receive treatment. May was not injured in the incident.
