Waynesville City Council in session Thursday night

(Waynesville)–The Waynesville City Council will meet this evening for its first session of the new year.
Council members and the mayor will honor Tim Wallace of Waynesville Career Center’s video department, and Channel 12 as December’s Good Citizens, Joann Goethe as January Good Citizen, and Cellar 66 Restaurant and Wine Bar in the business spotlight. They are expected to consider a proposed ordinance to extend a contract with the City of Richland regarding natural gas, and a proposed ordinance for a contract extension with Zeigenbein Sanitation for solid waste management and recycling services. City Adminstrator Bruce Harrill will present his End-of-Year Report for 2019 and the council will be asked to reappoint David Lowe as Municipal Judge and Ralph Muxlow as City Attorney/City Counselor.
The meeting will start at 5 o’ clock this evening in the Waynesville Municipal Center.
