Waynesville Boys Track and Field Teams heading to State

For the first time in 28 years, all the Waynesville High School boy’s relay teams are going to state. There were four boys’ relay teams, and those include the four by 100, four by 200, four by 400, and four by 800. Relays are when you run four people the same distance around the track and pass the baton around. Track and Field Head Coach Mike Rawlings who has been on the staff for 28 years, and has been the head coach for the last 11 years says his team is special this year.

The team has even broke multiple school records this year.
