Waynesville Back to School Extravaganza Will Be Drive-Thru This Year

The annual Back to School Extravaganza will be taking place in less than two weeks in the Waynesville area. Susan Marshall of Still Usable Ministeries Church in St. Robert says the event will be drive-through only, and will take place Saturday, August 22nd, starting at noon on the parking lot at Waynesville High School.

This 18th annual back to school event will be scaled back somewhat from previous years due to coronavirus concerns. There will not be free hotdogs, ice cream, hair cuts, dental screenings, and vision screenings this year.
Children must be present to receive the free backpacks, school supplies, and food items.
