Warsaw man accused of murder scheduled for hearing on Tuesday

A Warsaw man accused of murder will be back in court next week, for a hearing in Benton County. 26-year-old Jason Kroenke was arrested following an investigation into the death of a woman who was found shot to death in a home on Leisure Drive in Warsaw. The November 23rd call came in with Kroenke saying that Tarah McIntyre had shot herself. Using evidence gathered at the scene, including a blood-covered pillow with a bullet hole, officers believe that Kroenke shot McIntyre. Authorities say the gun that fired the bullet that killed McIntyre was found 4 feet from her body. Kroenke is charged with first-degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action. He will be in Benton County Court on Tuesday for a hearing.
