Wagons arriving in Lebanon

Today marks the beginning of the Wagons for Warriors event with the arrival of chuck wagons from all over the country. Today, Grill Master Kent Rollins will hold workshops at 1 and 3 pm and for the rest of the day, more than 30 wagons will be arriving in Lebanon at the Laclede County Fairgrounds. Organizer Steve Hull tells us that in addition to authentic style chuckwagons, this year’s event will feature something new…..

Attendees on Saturday will be able to make a $10 donation to the Wagons for Warriors veterans fund, which will allow them to sample food from the many chuckwagons, starting at noon on Saturday. Throughout the day on Saturday visitors will be able to hear stories and visit with the wagon crews. The Nanticoke Indian Tribe and friends will have a Pow-Wow, there will be a live auction, and more.
