Voter turnout in Missouri expected to be 70% or more
(Jefferson City)–Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft says he expects about a 70 percent voter turnout for the general election. Local election authorities project their jurisdiction’s voter turnout and then his office compiles a statewide estimate. Since 2020 is a year like no other, Ashcroft says a projection is difficult.
In 2016, Missouri had about a 67% voter turnout.
