Virtual Summer School will start in June at Waynesville

(Waynesville)–There will be no high school graduation ceremony held this month in the Waynesville School District. That cap-and-gown event has been rescheduled for June 19th. June is typically the month for summer school, and Waynesville Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Brian Henry, says the district will be offering summer school virtual classes next month.

Virtual learning summer school will run from June 1st through 26th. Sit-down summer school is scheduled for July 20th through 31st consistent with the prevailing COVID-19 safety precautions in place.
