Many organizations continue to develop plans to hold business meetings and classes virtually. On Tuesday, the Laclede County Local Emergency Planning Committee discussed the purchase of audio/visual equipment which will allow them to offer the virtual option, to partner agencies. The virtual option will be an asset for fire departments that don’t have access to high-speed internet or not enough room for multiple people to gather…

The Committee authorized up to $5-thousand-dollars for the purchase of the assets needed to set up the system. In the meantime, the LEPC will be working on setting up a policy for use of the system.
