Violent Crime takes many forms says Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap as his department sees an uptick in domestic violence

Missouri Governor Mike Parson this week announced there will be a special session to focus on violent crime in the state. While violent crime can take many forms, Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap says, his department has seen an uptick in domestic assaults:
While domestic violence is often triggered by alcohol and drug use, there are also stressors, like financial troubles, which can set off an abuser. Anyone who is the victim of domestic violence is encouraged to call 9-1-1.
