A frustrated Sen. Denny Hoskins held up the Missouri Senate for two and a half hours Thursday following the news that the Appropriations Committee voted down his bill that would legalize a form of gambling and video lottery machines. Prior to being voted down, the Warrensburg Senator told Missourinet that combining the two in his bill could amount to roughly $260 million dollars annually…

The addition of video lottery terminals to legalizing sports betting has prevented the bill’s passage in recent years. Some provisions of the bill still could be added to another sports betting bill going through the Missouri Senate.
