Veterans and their spouses have an opportunity to receive free assistance with estate planning

Veterans and their spouses have an opportunity to receive free assistance with estate planning during an event coming up in St. Robert on May 11th. The Missouri Veterans Commission, in conjunction with Lowe Dreesen Miller L-L-C, will be drafting free wills, advanced directives, and powers of attorney for local Veterans and their spouses, provided they are Missouri residents. Scotty Allen, with the Missouri Veterans Commission, says Veterans who would like assistance in estate planning just need to RSVP by May 5th……..

Allen, a Veteran himself, says it was frustrating seeing families of Veterans put in a tough position because their loved one had no will or advanced directive………..

Veterans, or spouses of Veterans, who are Missouri residents can RSVP by calling 573-522-4224 or by emailing Scotty dot Allen at M-V-C dot D-P-S dot MO dot gov by May 5th. The free will and estate planning clinic will be May 11th at the St. Robert Municipal Building, 194 Eastlawn Avenue, Suite H.
