Versailles Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle crash claimed the life of 33-year-old Jacob Martinez Friday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash reports indicate that the incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. on Route W, where Martinez crossed the center of the road, causing his motorcycle to skid, overturn, strike a sign, and eject him from the vehicle. Martinez of Versailles was pronounced dead on the scene at 12:46 a.m.
