Vehicle Stops Abruptly on the Interstate and Gets Rearended

A Phelps County accident Friday afternoon shortly after 3 o’ clock resulted in minor injuries for a Pulaski County motorist.
The highway patrol says the accident occured when a 2023 Kia Sportage, driven by 23-year-old Kloe L. Murer of St. Robert, stopped abruptly on the Interstate at the westbound 184.2 mile marker, and was struck by a 2019 Ford F-250, driven by 75-year-old Gary D. Sparks of Wentzville.
Murer was taken for treatment to the General Leonard Wood Army Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood.
