Vandalism at storm shelter

Vandals caused damage to the city storm shelter in Conway. According to the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, the damage was reported on January 5th after vandals painted the wall of the storm shelter on West Jefferson. The damage to the building also included paint on the floor, and on furniture, and the toilet was destroyed. A wooden bench and a mirror were missing from the shelter. The dollar amount attached to the vandalism is unknown at this time.
